Tier 6 synchro swim team third at nationals

 

SYNCHRO SUCCESS NATIONAL BRONZE: The Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club's Tier 6 team placed third at the national championships in Etobicoke June 7-10. Burlington's Tier 6 team fared well at the Canadian Espoir Synchronized Swimming Championships in Etobicoke recently.

The Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club squad was third among 11 teams competing at the Tier 6 level.

The team, coached by Elly Kowalyczyk, finished with a final score of 68.129.

Team members include Hani Bayoumi, Jordan Field, Robin Lynch, Elizabeth Metzler, Melisa Mitic, Rachel Winn, Evelina Wolesjzo and Alicia Worlidge.

The Tier 6 combo team coached by Jennifer Scott placed 11th nationally with a final routine score of 69.000.

Team members include Lee-Ann Barna, Hani Bayoumi, Katie Gandy, Carly Hourigan, Robin Lynch, Emma McCormick, Liz Metzler, Rachel Winn, Evelina Wojesjzo and Alicia Worlidge.
