The Waterloo Chronicle Team of the Week is the KW Synchro Club's Combo team. The KW Synchro team just returned from Nationals in Saskatoon, Sask., with the club's first-ever team medal. The team finished in third place in the combo event after only swimming together for two years. This is an outstanding accomplishment for the club as well as the team, as KW Synchro enters its 20th year as a synchronized swim club. In earlier competitions this year, the Combo team finished second in the Eastern Divisionals and second at the Provincials. The team was coached by Staci Bartlett and Katherine Hagerman.
