Very competitive Team event at the
swimming pool
WHITEHORSE (Yukon) - The swimming pool was the place to be tonight at the Canada
Games. The team event are one of the best one to watch in synchronized swimming
and is always well attended.
Team Quebec swam on a jungle theme routine and finished with a strong first with
83.500. Lagrange, the Head Coach, was very proud, "The team event is the
priority for Team Quebec because it includes everyone" she said. Team Ontario
was second with 80.167. The Ontario Coaching Staff felt the Team swam very well
and in unity. It is a big step forward for them and they now are confident to be
podium contenders. Alberta followed in third (78.333). Vanessa Bray said:" the
swim was safe because of music problem earlier this week but now we know we can
move up the standings".
Tomorrow, the teams are off and will be experiencing Yukon. For schedule, draws
