February 25, 2008 - Congratulations to Holley Lundmark, Head Coach of Durham Synchro who was honoured by the Coaches Association of Ontario on February 23rd with a 2007 Ontario Coaching Excellence Award in the Developmental Category. The awards are a chance for coaches to be recognized by their peers for the ongoing and significant contribution they have made to both their sport and athletes over a number of years.

December 11, 2007 - Synchro Canada has named 12 athletes that will go on to train at the Aquatic Centre of Excellence in Montreal in preparation for the 2008 Olympic Qualifying event to take place in Beijing this April. Synchro Canada Press Release & Duet Press Release

December 4, 2007 - For the 4th consecutive year Synchro Swim Ontario member clubs across the province participated in a province-wide charity initiative throughout the month of October for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Ontario Chapter “Burning Bright for Breast Cancer”. For the 3rd consecutive year Ontario synchro athletes have raised over $30,000, with a grand total for 2007 of $30,580.79!!! Congratulations!!!

September 20, 2007 -Synchro Swim Ontario will be welcoming out-of-province and out-of-country teams to participate in four major provincial competitions this season. The 2008 Provincial Championships, 2008 Masters Provincial Championships, 2008 Tier Championships and 2008 Trillium 12 & Under Championships will be open to out-of-province and out-of-country clubs to participate as exhibition entries. August 27, 2007 - Synchro Canada announced the pool of 14 athletes who will be in training at the Montreal Training Centre until the second phase of selection that will be held before Christmas. Congratulations to Ontario's Jennifer Knobbs who is part of the top 14!

Synchro Ontario Provincial Teams shine at International Meets!

July 9, 2007 - Synchro Swim Ontario provincial teams bring home medals this week! The Ontario Provincial Junior team competed at the Espana Sincro in Barcelona, Spain this weekend against teams from as far away as Russia.  Also this weekend, at the V Synchro Peru – Aquatica Cup in Lima, Peru, Ontario’s 13-15 provincial team had amazing results as they competed with teams from around the globe. July 5, 2007 - Thanks to the Ministry of Health Promotion’s Active 2010 Funding, Synchro Swim Ontario has been able to create their first 12 and Under Provincial Team program that begins this summer. Press Release
