Field wins Ontario synchro swim gold

A gold-medal performance by Jordan Field at the recent Trillium 12-and-under provincial synchro swim championships capped the 2003-04 competitive season for the Burlington Synchronized Swimming Club.

Th championships, hosted by K-W Synchro at the Waterloo Swimplex, featured more than 80 swimmers competing in figures, solo, duet and team competition.

Field earned her gold in the 10-and-under pre-set solo. Her winning score was 59.6667, more than two points ahead of her nearest competitor in a field of 15 swimmers.

In the 12-and-under solo finals, Burlington Synchro's Lara Tutton finished sixth over all and Rachel Winn was 10th.

The provincial meet wrapped up the 2003-04 synchro season.
