At the recent provincial championships in Etobicoke, the 13-year-old Markham native claimed her third straight gold medal after winning the 15 and under duet event while swimming with Samantha Mawhinney of Mississauga.

Making the feat even more remarkable is Mawhinney was the third different partner in each of Linton's triumphs.

A member of the Olympium Synchronized Swim Club, Linton will be training in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. during the March break before going to Montreal to compete against athletes from Quebec and the Atlantic provinces at the end of the month.
