Ontario Coach of the Month program In an effort to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions that coaches make to both sport and athletes across the province, the Coaches Association of Ontario (CAO) launched a new program - "Ontario Coach of the Month" on June 1, 2007. Each month, one outstanding coach will be identified and featured on the CAO website and within their local community. Nominations of Coaches at all levels and from all sports are encouraged. Out of all nominations, a deserving coach will be chosen by CAO's newly established multi-sport selection committee. Click here for a nomination form.

Memo to Judges on Combos (posted May 9/07) Judge Discussion sheets for elements/penalties (Nov 8 version) From Lynda Furniss:A few minor written changes were required in the above attached document to clarify the kick pull kick element for tiers 2 and 3. It was brought to my attention that the sequence of "kick pull kick airplane" constitutes one stroke, not two; so I have corrected the following numbered pages: 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11.
Also on page 17, there was a typing error for tier 4 team element # 2. Originally, the arm sequence read " ...travel both forward or sideways..." the word both has been removed. If you previously printed my September 2006 version, you need not reprint the entire document. When you are ready to print, remember that the document now has a title page, which does not have a page number. I would suggest that you scroll down to the exact page(s) that you want to reprint so that you get the right ones.Synchro Canada updates: For information on National issues, Programs, Meetings...go to Synchro Canada Synchro Canada Tiers & Star Program Requirements 2005-2009 Synchro Canada Rulebook Synchro Canada Rulebook error Please make note of the following error in the Synchro Canada rulebook: Under Appendix F - Technical Assistants Guide - page 87 - Tier 3 Team - element 1 - Traveling Eggbeater Forward and Sideways remove "*arms optional" and replace with "one arm raised"
